For sartorial splendor, it's hard to beat singer Beyoncé

The editors of People magazine assumed total control this year of picking the best-dressed celebrities, eliminating reader input. They took a pass, however, in actually ranking the 10 winners. Even so, multiple Grammy Award-winner Beyoncé Knowles drew special raves. People concluded that the glamorous R&B singer-actress is a "showstopper" and "looks amazing every time she goes out," which may in part be due to the fact that she also has her own designer clothing label. The best-dressed female stars, in no particular order, according to People's latest choices:
