Press Contacts

Writing or producing a story about The Christian Science Monitor? If you need to interview one of our editorial or publishing managers, contact our communications office. We can also put you in touch with one of our correspondents if you are a broadcaster looking to interview a reporter about a story.

We also created a special Twitter page for producers and bookers updated several times a week with fresh 2-way ideas from our correspondents.

There’s also a great resource on our newsroom page where you’ll find a list of our bureaus and staff reporters including a list of their most recent stories.

Why is Christian Science in our name?

Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.

The Church publishes the Monitor because it sees good journalism as vital to progress in the world. Since 1908, we’ve aimed “to injure no man, but to bless all mankind,” as our founder, Mary Baker Eddy, put it.

Here, you’ll find award-winning journalism not driven by commercial influences – a news organization that takes seriously its mission to uplift the world by seeking solutions and finding reasons for credible hope.
