Gretel is a fellow with the Monitor's EqualEd section. She first joined the Monitor staff in June 2015 as a writer on the Rapid Response team.
Gretel is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, where she earned a B.A. in American Studies. She has previously interned for NPR’s “On Point,” WXXI Public Broadcasting, and WBTA 1490, and written for TheBatavian.com.
