Isa Meyers

Isabel (Isa) Meyers is an editorial intern at the Monitor and a current graduate student in Northeastern’s Professional Journalism program. She is expected in graduate in May 2024. Prior to the Monitor, Isa worked as a grant writing and development intern at Red Hen Press and as an editorial intern at Graphis Inc.

She holds a dual B.A. with honors in English and Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Cornell University. Her honor’s thesis used feminist and literary theory to discuss female character tropes in pop culture. Isa was the founder and president of The Revival Zine, an intersectional feminist-focused magazine and club. She was a member and captain of Cornell’s cross country and track teams.

Isa is from Seattle, Washington, and is completing her NCAA eligibility as a graduate transfer at Northeastern.
