Jared Gilmour is the Budge Sperling Reporting Fellow at The Christian Science Monitor. He covers energy and politics in the Monitor's Washington, D.C. bureau.

Gilmour graduated in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in journalism and English from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism in Evanston, Ill. Prior to joining the Monitor, he covered politics at the Huffington Post and wrote for his college newspaper, the Daily Northwestern. He is originally from Fargo, N.D. and currently lives in Washington, D.C.

Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.
