John Colin Marston is a writer and journalist with interests in crisis reporting, radio journalism, and cultural criticism. He has written and reported for the New School Free Press, the Brooklyn Ink, Uptown Radio, Narratively, and Commonweal. Colin graduated from the New School with a degree in literature in 2016 and has participated in fellowships at the Young Iowa Writers' Studio and Humboldt University. He graduated with a master's from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism in 2018 where he wrote on religion, the AIDS epidemic, and education. Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, he has reported from Italy, Israel, and Palestine.
