Noah Robertson

National Security Writer

Noah Robertson is The Christian Science Monitor’s national security writer. He covers the Pentagon and other related agencies from Washington, and also looks at how politics and policy reflect the security choices and values of the nation.

Mr Robertson has worked in D.C. since 2020. In that time, he’s reported on a number of national and political topics – policing, gun rights, hurricane recovery, and state politics, among others. In 2021, he covered the summer Olympics in Tokyo. Since 2022, he’s made multiple trips to Ukraine for wartime reporting.

A native Virginian, Mr. Robertson still lives west of the Potomac. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English and government from the College of William & Mary.
