Oli Turner

Oli Turner is an editorial intern at the Monitor and fourth-year undergraduate at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where she studies English & Creative Writing. Her strongest interests lie at the intersection of arts, culture, and urban studies.

Before the Monitor, she wrote for The Cricket in her hometown of Manchester, Massachusetts, and served as managing editor of The Emory Wheel, Emory's independent student-run newspaper. In 2023, she was a Scripps Howard Fund nonprofit newsroom intern at Lower Cape TV in Orleans, Massachusetts. Her work has appeared in Atlanta Magazine and Boston Hassle.

Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.
