Saad Hammadi is an investigative journalist based in Dhaka, covering Bangladesh for The Christian Science Monitor and The Guardian. He was Bangladesh correspondent for Monitor Global Outlook, a former business news and intelligence service of The Christian Science Monitor, between 2013 and 2015. 

He is also the Youth Editor of New Age, a leading English language daily in Bangladesh. In more than a decade as a journalist, Saad has covered human rights, the influences of fundamentalism in Bangladesh, and the effects of climate change in the country.

Saad has a Masters in Development Studies from BRAC University and a BSS in media studies and journalism from the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh.
