Sanya Mansoor joined The Christian Science Monitor in June 2015 as a Rapid Response Intern.

She is a rising senior at Northwestern University, studying journalism and political science. Sanya is originally from Kashmir, India and has lived in India, England, Singapore and the US. She has reported stories for The Monitor's national, international, technology, science, culture and energy/environment section. 

Sanya loves Boston for introducing her to the world's best marinara sauce.

Why is Christian Science in our name?

Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.
