Tomás González is a Senior at Emerson College pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, with minors in Political Science and Music History & Culture.

His love for journalism came about in an early age and has stayed with him throughout his career, eventually serving as Multimedia Managing Editor for Emerson College's student publication, The Berkeley Beacon. He has previously worked with the newspaper La Nación in San Jose, Costa Rica, and Latino News Network Massachusetts in Boston. 

His interests range from international politics and social justice to music and the arts. He is fluent in English and Spanish.

Why is Christian Science in our name?

Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.
