HBO makes great TV from books

More and more popular books are becoming HBO series. Here are some of the most well-known.

2. 'Band of Brothers'

The miniseries is based on Stephen Ambrose's book of the same name. "Band of Brothers" follows Easy Company, a World War II parachute infantry regiment. The series started with the regiment's training and finished with Germany's surrender, though in the TV adaptation some changes were made to the real-life experiences of the soldiers whom Ambrose had interviewed for his book.
