HBO makes great TV from books

More and more popular books are becoming HBO series. Here are some of the most well-known.

6. 'Boardwalk Empire'

Based on the book of the same name by Nelson Johnson, the series follows real-life criminal boss Nucky Johnson, who ruled over the crime scene in Atlantic City during the Prohibition Era. Johnson is played by Steve Buscemi and series character include other gangsters of the period, such as Al Capone and Charles "Lucky" Luciano.
