10 reasons I can't wait for 'The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones' movie

I've read the books. I've seen the trailer. Now I can't wait for the movie!

1. The books

The movie is based an amazing series of books. I don’t care what kind of special effects or big name actors you have, if your foundation is off, your building will tumble. But there's no shoddy workmanship in the "City of Bones" (book No. 1 in the "Mortal Instruments" series). Instead there's a fantastic and well-calibrated mix of action, betrayal, love, demon energies, and friendly vampires – all set in a mythical version of New York City. My goodness. You don’t forget books like these. Instead, you cherish them and continue to go back and re-read them.
