Dean Koontz is author of the "Odd Thomas" books. A film version of his work called "Odd Thomas," starring Anton Yelchin ("Star Trek"), is scheduled for release later this year. In addition to books in the thriller, science fiction, and horror genres, Forbes has also written popular books featuring his dog, Trixie. Forbes estimates that Dean Koontz made $20 million this year.
