Thank heavens, Georgette Heyer has been promoted from genre hack to “historical novelist” (as Raymond Chandler was promoted from genre hack to literary artist). Heyer’s Cotillion has been reissued as a handsome trade paperback by Sourcebooks, Inc. – one to be read on the bus or train with pride. For those who don’t know her novels, you are in for a treat!
