Benedict Arnold’s Navy by James C. Nelson is about the campaign led by Benedict Arnold and Richard Montgomery that started even before the Battle of Brooklyn, the American invasion of Canada. Nelson’s book covers the campaign from the trek across the interior of Maine, still a howling wilderness, through the defeat of Burgoyne at Saratoga.
