For Your Eyes Only

For Your Eyes Only by Ian Fleming was the first James Bond book I’d ever read. Fleming has a crisp, clean, well- paced writing style that develops his main character far beyond the movie versions over the years. Fleming also writes with a keen insight into the human condition. In the chapter titled ”The Quantum of Solace” he examines the tenuous nature of all human relationships within a story told to Bond by another character.  A very enjoyable book from a talented writer.
