Who wouldn't want to travel the world like Julia Roberts, or marry their on-screen sweetie like Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer, or be able to use their celebrity as a force for good, like Angelina Jolie? They earn millions of dollars for work that looks effortless. Their faces get splashed across the magazines. And they lead lives of glamor and ease. Right?

In today's troubled economy, maybe it's not too surprising that 32 percent, nearly 1 in 3 adults, dreams of being an actor.
