This Fisher-Price tricycle is one of more than 10 million tricycles, toys and high chairs recalled over safety concerns.

In September, the CPSC and Health Canada recalled more than 11 million unsafe Fisher-Price products -- tricycles, high chairs, wheelies, and toys. Numerous complaints of child injuries and near-choking sparked the recalls.

“If you discover something on a toy that you think is potentially hazardous, report it to the CPSC,” says Mays. Consumer Reports also advises parents not to purchase toys from dollar stores, where unsafe items are more common.
