The weather in President George W. Bush’s childhood hometown is arguably some of the best in Texas. Midlanders enjoy 300 sunny days a year, and lower summer temperatures than Dallas or San Antonio. Its foreclosure rate is also half of either of those Texas metros, perhaps because of its strong base of energy-related businesses.
