Jimmy Fallon will be presiding over this year's prime-time Emmy Awards telecast.
He will be at the helm of "The 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards" when the show airs live coast-to-coast on NBC on Aug. 29. The network made the announcement Tuesday.
Fallon is a veteran of "Saturday Night Live" and host of "Late Night" since March 2009.
He joked in a statement that hosting the Emmys "has been a dream of mine ever since they told me I was doing it."
Nominations for the awards, presented by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, will be announced July 8.
