After 25 years, where will Mario head next? According to Nintendo, he'll be diving into the third dimension. At E3, the year's biggest video game convention, the company unveiled the 3DS, a 3-D handheld system that doesn't require goofy glasses. Expect Mario to play a big roll in the system's early days. Nintendo banks on nostalgia – just look at New Super Mario Bros. Wii. That game has remained on the top-selling games list for months, regularly beating out major new releases. Already, Nintendo has announced a 3-D remake of Super Mario 64 for the 3DS.
