This one is the wild card of the bunch. Hitman: Absolution, the fifth game of the Hitman series, follows Agent 47 "who takes on his most dangerous contract to date,” according to the official website.
“Betrayed by those he trusted and hunted by the police, he finds himself at the centre of a dark conspiracy and must embark on a personal journey through a corrupt and twisted world, in his search for the truth.” Typical. But what’s atypical about IO Interactive’s latest game is its Glacier 2 technology, which allows designers to include crowds of more than 1,200 characters. Still images of Absolution indicate that IO Interactive has produced stunning gameplay with the help of this new programming.
Hitman is a decidedly Mature-rated series, and this installment doesn’t look like it’ll be any different than its predecessors.
