Before iOS 7, you could swipe to the far left on an iPhone or iPad to bring up Spotlight. This feature let you search for songs, apps, and contacts all in one place.
Well, Spotlight has moved. Now, you swipe down instead of left. But you can't do it from anywhere. If you pull down from the top of the screen, you'll access your calendar and alerts. Instead, swipe down from the middle of the screen. The new Spotlight searches through messages, reminders, recent mail, notes, audiobooks, videos, podcasts, music, contacts, and applications.
