2 large ripe bananas
1/2 stick butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon all spice
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Butter a loaf pan.
2. Mash bananas. In a separate bowl, cream together butter, sugar, and vanilla. Add bananas.
3. In another bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, and all spice. Add to the the butter and sugar mixture, combine well. Stir in chocolate chips.
4. Pour into loaf pan and bake for 50 minutes to 1 hour, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean and the top is golden. Remove from pan and let cool completely on a wire rack.
