As the daughter of parents who performed in the 1960's group The Mamas and The Papas, Chynna Phillips was bit with the acting-singing bug.
She began an acting career in roles such as Caddyshack II and Say Anything.
In the 1990's, along with childhood friends Carnie and Wendy Wilson she performed in a singing trio under the name "Wilson Phillips." The group's award-winning songs "Hold On" and "Release Me," were written by Phillips.
As a competitor on Dancing with the Stars, her background might just make her a fan favorite this season.
