Sao Paulo broke a personal record on June 10, 2009 with 182 miles of total traffic filling city streets.

The city's solution? Helicopters. Within the past five years, the fleet of registered helicopters in Sao Paulo has risen to just under 600 – more than any other city in the world, according to a report by CNBC. Helipads blanket roofs of buildings in the city, making getting across town and landing near your destination quick and easy.
