Life must go on. That's true for the "other Steve" (Wozniak) who co-founded Apple, for others who worked with Jobs, and for millions of people who admired the man or who use the products he unleashed.
What's clear from the torrent of tweets posted after Jobs's passing is that many people will not simply move on with life, but will draw a measure of new inspiration or passion from his legacy. No one will be another Steve Jobs, but that's the point.
He spoke these words at Stanford University in 2005: "Don't be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary."
