Glenn Beck leaving Fox: his 10 most controversial statements (so far)

Glenn Beck has packed a lot of wallop in just two-plus years at Fox News. We’ve whittled the list down to the 10 most controversial things Mr. Beck has said on Fox – so far, at least.

BECK: If I have told you five years ago that the United States government would bypass the Congress and then go right through the EPA for climate change, and have the EPA declare that every time you exhale, you poison the Earth. If I have told you that five years ago, you would have said, not in America. If I would have added this: that the government is going to merge with churches under the Democrats, you would have said I was stark-raving insane.

But that's what's happening. And that is exactly why I told you this just a couple of months ago. Do you remember when I gotten heat for this?

BECK: I beg you, look for the words "social justice" or "economic justice" on your church Web site. If you find it, run as fast as you can. Social justice and economic justice -- they are code words.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

BECK: OK. My goodness. Like this -- suddenly I went from a religious zealot to a godless atheist animal with that paragraph. That's it. I was a heretic and a heathen and a hater. All of a sudden, I had all these Christians coming out of the woodwork to boycott my show.

Wow, it was weird! It was really weird. And I knew it wasn't about me. No, no, no. This is about you. The reason I warned you about this is because they are injecting social justice poison into our churches and it is the last -- this is the last dying breath of our churches if we don't snap out of it.
