9. How did the US finally find bin Laden?

Four years ago, US intelligence officials identified one of bin Laden’s most trusted couriers. “But for years, we were unable to identify his true name or his location,” said the senior administration official.

Last August, the US military was able to pinpoint where the courier and his brother lived – in the town of Abbottabad, Pakistan, about 75 miles north of Islamabad.
