Senate's 16 new members arrive on Capitol Hill: Who are they?

Starting this Monday, the Senate welcomes 16 fresh faces to the Capitol’s marbled halls.

A former accountant and industrial company owner, Republican Ron Johnson defeated incumbent Democratic Sen. Russ Feingold. Mr. Johnson has held no prior political office. He is endorsed by the Dairy Business Association, the Wisconsin Grocers Association, and the Tea Party Political Action Committee Freedom Works.

This seat was one of the six Republican pickups in the Senate.
