Randy Moss to Titans: Nashville has another star.

The Randy Moss saga has the makings of bad country-and-western song.
"My team won't give me the money I deserve.
I get a new team, but I hate the food they serve."
This whole Spurned Superstar ditty started in New England earlier this season when the Patriots' wide receiver felt the team didn't want to pay him what he was worth. After asking for and being granted a trade, Moss landed with the Minnesota Vikings, where apparently there was an outburst at a caterer for a team function last Friday.
Really? After giving up a third-round draft pick a month ago, the Vikings were so shocked by his behavior that they gave away one of the best wide-receivers in football? I'm not excusing his behavior but it could hardly be considered a surprise given Moss's history with the Vikings.
So now Randy Moss is going to get another fresh start with the second-place AFC South Tennessee Titans, who are playing catchup with the powerhouse Indianapolis Colts.
If all the elements come together this looks to be a good fit for both parties. The Titans are going into their bye week after having just lost wide receiver Kenny Britt last week with a hamstring injury. Of course, the Titans will have to pick up the remainder of Moss's $6.4 million dollar contract, which expires at the end of this season.
Unless you're a Vikings fan, maybe this song finally gets an up-tempo closing refrain.
"I may be Randy, but in Nashville I'm dandy.
With a happy heart, I'll go deep – and watch the Vikings weep.
