A punishing fighter, Mike Tyson earned his first heavyweight championship in 1986, defeating Trevor Berbick for the WBC title. At age 20, he was the youngest champion in heavyweight history. Tyson would add WBA and IBF crowns the next year to unify the title. He lost the heavyweight championship to James 'Buster' Douglas in 1990. Tyson regained the WBA and WBC title belts in 1996, only to lose both to Evander Holyfield by the end of 1997.
