Why pay full price for tickets or concessions when there is a wide array of discounts available at virtually every big-league park? Not surprisingly, the Kansas City Royals, who have struggled on the field, provide a host of special deals, including Student Nights, Buck Nights, Value Mondays, and All You Can Eat Seats.
Here’s how the latter works: You buy a loge seat for $40 in a specially designated seating section. Fans with tickets for this section are given a wristband that is good for all core menu items – hot dogs, nachos, peanuts, pretzels, and soft drinks – they can consume from the time the gates open to the conclusion of the seventh inning. All items are available at a designated concession stand and fans are limited to four items per person per visit.
The Los Angeles Angels offer one of the cheapest seats, selling $4 Upper View Seats for six home games in April.
Family discount packages are popular, and in Miami kids eat free on Wednesdays.
In Boston, the Red Sox have declared April "Welcome Back Month." Kids eat free and Fenway Franks are available in a 2-for-1 deal.
For some of Milwaukee’s value deals, a ticket for the game also comes with admission to one of various local attractions, including the Wisconsin State Fair and the Harley-Davidson Museum.
