A Saudi tip-off puts France even more on edge in mid-October

In mid-October, Saudi intelligence officials warned France to be on alert for plots, this time by an Al Qaeda franchise in Yemen, Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula. In response, France ramped up its terror alert level again, the Monitor reported. A couple weeks later, an AQAP plot was uncovered, but it was directed at the US and discovered in Britain and Dubai.
