Known as the Great Fire of 1910, this wildfire raged across three states – Idaho, Montana, and Washington – and several national forests in the US northwest. In the end, the two-day firestorm had burned about 3 million acres of land and caused more than 80 deaths. It is still the largest forest fire in US history.
