In 2007, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad delivered a 40-minute, 4,400-word speech to the UN General Assembly.

He pushed back against human rights advocates, and those within Iran, who criticized his government's recent harsh crackdown on 'bad hijab' (improper dressing).
