Passcode is proud to serve as the sole media partner for the Cyber Risk series of events with the Atlantic Council's Cyber Statecraft Initiative. Please join us on Wednesday, May 25 from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. for a panel discussion with a group of prominent cybersecurity experts.
Traditional government roles of safeguarding citizens and stimulating innovation are on a collision course in connected cars, medical devices, and other areas where the consequences of failure are human life and public safety. How do these government roles translate to the Internet of Things, and how should tensions be resolved?
This moderated panel discussion will explore where the US government should lead, follow, or get out of the way on matters related to the Internet of Things. By bringing together experts from both the public and private sector, the event will bring clarity to the roles and responsibilities of government and industry when dealing with the Internet of Things.
This event is open to press and on the record. A reception will follow the event.
