He taught high school English in the Mississippi Delta for two years where he also produced theatre. As a writer, he covers culture and society. As a native New Yorker, he knows where the best bagel and lox is. He's fluent in Hebrew with a background in Latin. Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.
