9. 'My Week with Marilyn'

This movie, which earned a Best Actress nomination for Michelle Williams and a Best Supporting Actor nomination for Kenneth Branagh, was actually based on two different books, both published by the film's main character, Colin Clark, one in 1995 and the other in 2000.
