O.J. Simpson became the second USC tailback to be awarded the Heisman Trophy and garnered the most points ever in Heisman voting (2,853) when he won in 1968. Simpson went on to star with the Buffalo Bills, where he became the first running back in NFL history to rush for more than 2,000 yards in 1973. O.J. finished his 11-year NFL career in 1979 with the San Francisco 49ers.

After rushing for over 11,000 yards and 61 touchdowns, Simpson was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1985.
