Jim Plunkett was the quarterback at Stanford when he won the Heisman Trophy in 1970. He started his NFL career with the New England Patriots, then moved to the San Francisco 49ers for two seasons. But Plunkett enjoyed his greatest success with the Oakland Raiders, leading them to a pair of Super Bowl victories in the early 1980s.
