Tony Dorsett was the best offensive football player in America in 1976, helping the University of Pittsburgh win the national championship. Dorsett was a runaway winner of the Heisman Trophy that year. As a running back for the NFL's Dallas Cowboys, he helped them reach back-to-back Super Bowls in 1978 and 1979. After finishing his 12-year career with the Denver Broncos in 1988, Dorsett was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1994.
