NCAA tournament: Morehead State joins Top 10 Cinderella teams

One of the most enjoyable things about the NCAA tournament - for basketball fanatics and casual observers alike - is the Cinderella story. This list looks some of the best upsets in NCAA tournament history.

North Carolina State (1983)

Jimmy Valvano’s Wolfpack entered the tournament as the No. 6 seed in the West region. They were dubbed 'The Cardiac Pack,' defeating two No. 1 seeds (Virginia and Houston) by a total of just three points. In the title game, the 'Pack was headed to overtime with the University of Houston’s vaunted and heavily-favored "Phi Slama Jamma" squad, were it not for Lorenzo Charles’ last-second dunk to win it all.
