She is discreet and private and, seemingly, free of scandal

Unless the media has pledged not to reveal Middleton’s embarrassing moments, which is quite unlikely, the future royal has done a remarkable job of remaining free of scandal and keeping her personal life private – especially considering the fact that she first entered the spotlight as a college student, a rowdy period in many people's life.

The various profiles of Middleton that have cropped up since the engagement announcement make scarce mention of anything negative. Her family has also toed the line well, says Tina Brown of the Daily Beastno questionable past or relatives have surfaced under media scrutiny and Middleton’s parents seem keen to not become part of the media circus.
