William's first choice for a wedding date was for March, apparently. Who knows why? March is normally the third coldest month of the year in London, according to the BBC weather service, and the choice of March seems to have been quickly shot down. It "was ruled out by courtiers last week for being too cold and rainy," reports The Daily Mail.
Still, with William and Kate reportedly pressing for a short engagement, March might still be on the table. Royal expert Katie Nicholl told "Good Morning America" that "royal engagement announcements by tradition are short. So I wouldn't rule out seeing something perhaps as early as March or April."
