Stephen Colbert’s mock-conservative testimony on illegal migrant farm labor brought some laughs and frowns to Congress. After working on a farm for a day, the Comedy Central star felt he was an “expert.”
When asked about a migrant worker bill, Mr. Colbert said, “I’m not a fan of the government doing anything. But I’ve got to ask: Why isn’t the government doing anything? Maybe this Add Jobs Bill would help. I don’t know. Like most members of Congress, I haven’t read it.”
